» Phyllis Lowrie – Receptionist


Phyllis joined the Espanola Animal Hospital team in the fall of 2006. Her strong work ethic and welcoming personality make her very popular with our clients.

When she’s not providing first class client care, Phyllis performs with her Bluegrass band all over Northern Ontario.

 

 

Jennifer

» Jennifer Munro – Hospital Manager


Jennifer joined the Espanola Animal Hospital team in the fall of 2011. Her dedication to serving clients makes her an invaluable member of the team. Jennifer is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association distance program, and is working towards becoming a credentialed Hospital Manager.

Jennifer loves the outdoors and is often found fishing around Espanola and Manitoulin Island.

 

 

Lori

» Lori Harris – Receptionist


Lori joined the Espanola Animal Hospital team in January 2018.

Lori is very active with animal rescue, fostering certain orthopaedic rehab clients and some of the more difficult foster cats & dogs for Pet Save Sudbury in her home.

When not helping animals, Lori can be found participating in Sudbury Rotary Sunrisers projects, enjoying life at the lake or riding her motorcycle.

 

 

» Kali Holz – Surgery Coordinator


Kali has been a part of our team since fall of 2012. She assists on all orthopedic surgeries, and on most advanced soft tissue surgeries. When not in the hospital, Kali and her horse Birdie train in the riding discipline of dressage, and compete on the National Dressage Circuit.

She is also owned by a highly adorable Weimaraner and two cats. Kali is currently enrolled in the Distance Veterinary Technology program and is one semester away from becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician.

 

 

Aliisa Peura

» Aliisa Peura, B.Sc – Research Assistant


Aliisa joined the practice in March of 2017. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology. She assists with data collection, manuscript preparation, study design, and provides technical support; including 3D printing and product development.

When she’s not working she enjoys spending time at camp with her family and her Border Collie.

 

 

Lydia Periard

» Lydia Periard – Registered Veterinary Technician


Lydia joined the practice in June 2017. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Northern College, and achieved Registered status in May 2018. She originates from Cornwall, Ontario, but her love for nature has brought her here. She is training to become a rehabilitation technician. When she’s not working, she can be found painting or out and about with her Boxers, Ellie & Ivy.
