arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is the diagnostic and treatment tool of choice for most joint-related problems. Espanola Animal Hospital uses the Arthrex Synergy surgical suite and were the first facility in Canada (human or animal) to employ this system. An arthroscope is both a miniature camera and a magnifying glass that allows us to examine the joint structures in fine detail and perform extremely precise, delicate surgical procedures.

We proudly provide this advanced care to ALL of our patients receiving cruciate surgery and are currently the only referral centre in Canada that can make this claim.  Cost of stand alone arthroscopy, such as for elbow dysplasia or shoulder OCD, is $1600 + HST.  Referrals can be obtained by contacting the hospital through any of the regular means.
