Kali Holz | AAS, RVT, FFCP, CCAT, VTS (Surgery)

Kali joined our team in the fall of 2012 and worked her way up from kennel attendant to Surgical Coordinator. She is extremely motivated, having completed her AAS and RVT degrees while working full time.

She earned her CCAT certification in July 2023 from North Carolina State University, which allows her to provide rehab/physio care to our patients. In November 2025, Kali became the first Canadian RVT to earn the prestigious Veterinary Technician Specialist designation in Surgery. She is currently a student at University of Missouri and is working eagerly towards her B. Sc in Veterinary Technology. She is driven to always be better and do better for our patients and the profession alike.

Kali has a keen interest in research and has multiple publications in various stages of completion.  She is also a regular contributor to the The RVT Journal, writing CE articles for RVT members with a focus on orthopedics, post-operative nursing care, and radiology.

She also invests her time in the training and development of new RVTs, acting as a preceptor for students enrolled in the AAHA Distance Education Program.

Outside of her career, Kali loves to be active and outside as much as possible. She is owned by Yaegar, a Weimaraner and Happy, a German Shorthaired Pointer. Together they enjoy canicross, hiking, and competing in a number of dog sports.
