Kali Holz

RVT, Surgical Coordinator

Kali joined our team in the fall of 2012 and worked her way up from kennel attendant to Surgical Coordinator. She is extremely motivated, having completed her AAS and RVT degrees while working full time. She next has her sights set on achieving a Veterinary Technician Specialist certification both in Surgery and Anesthesia/Analgesia. She is driven to always be better and do better for our patients. 


Outside of her career, she is an avid Dressage rider and enjoys the challenges and rewards of learning new movements and techniques with an equine partner. She is owned by Yaegar, her loyal and loveable Weimaraner, and Birdie, her horse.


Jennifer Munro

Hospital Manager

Jennifer joined the Espanola Animal Hospital in October 2011. Her years of dedication and loyalty to both clients and patients make her an invaluable member of the team. 

As an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Manager's Association, she has helped develop a well recognized and respected veterinary hospital. 

Jennifer's further goals include completing hospital management courses and webinars to further develop her skills. 


She is owned by a beautiful Rottweiler, named Hank and spends her free time outdoors and travelling to tropical destinations. 


Lindsay Griffiths


Lindsay joined the practice in March of 2019 after attending Sheridan College for Business Administration - Human Resources and Brock University for Labour Studies. Originally from Hamilton, her love for the outdoors brought her to Northern Ontario. She is passionate about helping both our patients and their families. In the future she hopes to complete her Human Resources Accreditation and work towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Management Professional. 


Outside of her career, Lindsay can be found canoeing or hiking in Killarney. She is also an avid reader and is owned by her adorable dog Harley. 


Aliisa Peura

B.Sc, Research Assistant

Aliisa joined the practice in March of 2017. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology and will be attending the University of Melbourne, Australia in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program starting March 2019. She assists with data collection, manuscript preparation, study design, and provides technical support; including 3D printing and product development as well as surgical assistance.

When she’s not working she enjoys spending time at camp with her family and her Border Collie.


Marlee Pyott

B.Sc, Animal Care Attendant, Research Assistant

Marlee joined the team at the end of 2019. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Laurentian University with a specialization in Zoology and one day hopes to become a vet. She assists in surgeries and research with the aim of bettering the welfare of animals . 


When she is not at the hospital, she likes to spend her free time with her friends and family, often spending much of her time enjoying the outdoors spectating wildlife. 


Cassidy Sullivan

B.Sc, Surgical Assistant, Research Assistant

Cassidy relocated from Ajax, Ontario to attend Laurentian University where she recently achieved a Bachelor of Science, specializing in Zoology. Her passion for wildlife and the outdoors was all the encouragement she needed to remain in Northern Ontario following graduation.   Cassidy worked at a wildlife rehabilitation centre until she joined the EAH team in March of 2020. With the ambition of becoming a veterinarian, Cassidy utilizes her roles as surgery assistant and as a member of the research team to improve the health and welfare of all animals she interacts with.

When not rocking scrubs, you can find Cassidy relaxing at home with her ever-so affectionate cat, Salem, or exploring beautiful Northern Ontario.


Bethany Tollman

B.Sc, Lead Animal Care Attendant

Bethany joined the team in November 2019. She originates from Kent, England where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Greenwich.


Bethany spends her time outside the hospital exploring Northern Ontario, both locally and further afield.
