Tyler

Clinic Cat

Tyler is the longest serving member of our team. A former shelter cat, Tyler had a very severe case of stomatitis, which resulted in him needing a full-mouth extraction, laser therapy, and immunosuppressive medications.

Now 19 years old, Tyler can usually be found sleeping in one of his many beds, cardboard boxes or baskets behind the reception desk.

Sonia

Receptionist

Sonia joined our team as a receptionist in the summer of 2022. Coming from two years in her field of study as an aesthetician, she had found her calling in working in a setting with animals that she is very passionate about.

In her spare time, you can find her with family and friends.

Laura

Practice Manager

With a diverse background, Laura joins us with over 23 years experience as a Registered Early Childhood Educator and Finance Coordinator. She decided to take a break and be a stay-at-home Mom (without the kids!) but quickly realized she needed more. Laura has chosen to shift focus slightly and help parents with their fur-kids instead.

Laura is owned by Mika and Bella. In her downtime she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

Alex

B.Sc, Surgical + Research Assistant

Alex graduated from Laurentian University with a degree in Forensic Science but her interests changed as she started to volunteer with animals and grew her family by one dog, one bunny and one bearded dragon. From then on, she knew her goal was to have a positive impact on any animal she interacted with.

Alex is currently enrolled in the AAHA Distance Veterinary Technician program and is working eagerly towards earning her RVT degree.

Outside of work, Alex loves to spend time on trails throughout Sudbury with her dogs, Moose and Bunny.

Sarah graduated from Laurentian University with a degree in Forensic Science and Biology. She hopes to one day continue her education by obtaining a Masters degree.

Sarah is owned by her two cats, Cacciatore and Mimosa. Outside of work she can be found camping, as she works towards her goal of visiting every provincial park in Ontario.
